Bamse: A Saint Bernard, was a symbol of the Free Norwegian Forces in World War II.
Bambi: A chihuahua owned by prominent Northern Irish loyalist Sammy Duddy, and he received much media attention when he was shot dead in 2002 by rival loyalists during a gun attack on Duddy's home in Belfast.
