In modern popular fiction, a superhero is a type of costumed heroic character who possesses supernatural or superhuman powers and who is dedicated to fighting crime, protecting the public, and usually battling supervillains. Bane: Bane is an escaped convict from an island prison in South America and a super-villain. Beast: The Beast is the main antagonist of the 2014 Cartoon Network mini series, Over the Garden Wall. He is the monster of the place known as "The Unknown". His goal is to take the souls of the people who come to his woods. The Beast is a deceitful, mysterious, calculating, and manipulative being.
Bruce: Batman is the superhero protector of Gotham City, a man dressed like a bat who fights against evil and strikes terror into the hearts of criminals everywhere.
